Did DJ Cara really say goodbye?
No. There is no goodbye.
Clips went around in 2026 in which DJ Cara signs off from Non-Stop-Pop FM for the last time, after 12 years, before GTA 6 arrives. They are moving, and they are not from the game. Rockstar has announced nothing of the kind, and no farewell appears anywhere in her recorded dialogue. Her last words before every break are a promise to come back.
People make those clips with AI voice tools. This site runs one of them. A clip like that takes about a minute to make, and anyone can make one, which is the whole reason you cannot trust a DJ Cara goodbye you find on TikTok.
The closest thing to a sign-off in the real game is this, and she is only going to the adverts:
